Proteng Fire Device

A Proteng fire device is an autonomous fire suppression system designed for enclosed spaces where fires can start and spread quickly, such as engine compartments, electrical panels, server rooms, and battery housings. Unlike a traditional fire extinguisher, which requires manual operation, a Proteng device is fully automatic and works without any external power source or human intervention.

The system consists of a heat-sensitive polyamide tube filled with a clean extinguishing agent (like FM-200). When the surrounding temperature rises to a critical level (e.g., above 100°C), the pressure inside the tube increases until it ruptures at the hottest point. This releases the extinguishing agent directly onto the source of the fire, suppressing it in its early stages before it can cause significant damage. The agent then evaporates without leaving any residue, and it is non-corrosive and non-toxic to humans. This makes it an ideal solution for protecting sensitive equipment.

Fire Blankets

A fire blanket is a safety device used to extinguish small, incipient fires. It is a sheet made from a fire-resistant material, such as woven fiberglass or treated wool. Fire blankets work on the principle of smothering a fire by cutting off its oxygen supply, which is a key element of the "fire triangle" (heat, fuel, and oxygen).

Fire blankets are typically stored in a quick-release pouch or case and are easy to deploy. They are most effective for small, contained fires, especially those involving cooking oils and grease in a kitchen, or for putting out flames on a person's clothing. They are a valuable safety tool for both homes and workplaces. Once used, a fire blanket should be inspected for damage and, in most cases, replaced
